| Message | Having seen the recent posts by drunkpunk, I started wondering how well I'd do in a head-to-head. Then I realized, I don't know the 1st thing about racing from a dead-stop. I know, it sounds stupid, but can anyone elaborate a bit? The reason I ask is that now I'm driving a TT w/ jwt530s, the car feels far too strong in 1st gear for me to mash the throttle like I did in my NA. Let's assume that you don't have an aftermarket traction system. All my previous experience was at Harris Hill (5) and Texas World Speedway (1), in HPDEs. So... 1) Do you rev to something specific? 2500rpm? 3000rpm? 2) Do you drop the clutch in an instant?
 3) In 1st gear do you only partially use the throttle to avoid spin?
 4) What is the optimal shift point for going into 2nd?
